Can I ride the train from Chama to Antonito and back (or vice versa) in the same day?No. But you can go one way by train and the other on a comfortable C&TS motorcoach. Check out our Schedules and Rates page.

Can I buy tickets on the day of the train?You can try, but it is not recommended as trains are often sold out.

What if I need to make changes my ticket reservation?After 48 hours from the time you made your reservation, changes are subject to a $6 per seat fee. Any changes must be made prior to original trip date.

CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS
Cancellations and requests for refunds made prior to 48 hours of departure are subject to a 15% fee. There are no refunds issued on reservations cancelled less than 48 hours before your departure.
CREDIT CARDS
A valid American Express, Discover, Mastercard or Visa credit card number is required to make an online reservation. Your credit card will be charged for the full amount within 24 hours of our receiving your booking.
TICKET PICKUP
Your tickets will be available for pickup at your depot of origin prior to the departure of your train or bus. Tickets should, if possible, be picked up the day prior to departure or at least an hour before departure on the day of travel. Please have your reservation number available.
SEAT ASSIGNMENTS
Seat assignments are not guaranteed, but we will make every effort to fulfill your request. It is occasionally necessary to reseat passengers due to substitution of equipment or other reasons.
CHILDREN
A discounted rate (approximately half-fare) is charged for children 2-11 years riding coach. Babes-in-arms under 2 years of age need not have a ticket provided they do not occupy a seat. Please, no children under 12 in the Parlor Car.
ACCESSIBILITY
We have wheelchair lifts available on select coaches, parlor cars and motorcoaches. Please make your reservation AT LEAST 3 days in advance of departure and notify us at 1-888-CUMBRES (1-888-286-2737) or at info@cumbrestoltec.com at the time of your reservation that you use a wheelchair and/or require assistance.
DELAYS
While every effort is made to maintain our schedules, mechanical and/or weather conditions may cause delays. The Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad will not be held liable for any delays.
